SKP Community

Our acronym SKP stands for Somvanshi Kshatriya Pathare. We share our history with sister communities like Somvanshi Pathare Kshatriya (SPK) and Pathare Prabhu. We are believed to have parted company with them on the issue of widow remarriage. Somvashi Kshatriya communities are also found in Pratapgarh and Hardoi districts of Uttar Pradesh apart from Maharashtra of course.
